Import EAGLE Libraries

This documentation does not exist yet. However, AISLER has written a detailed step-by-step tutorial for importing EAGLE libraries into LibrePCB. Please check this out:

It is highly recommended to import all elements contained in a EAGLE library at once (i.e. check all checkboxes)! The importer currently does not detect & skip already imported elements, so when you import (parts of) the same library again, you will end up with duplicates. To avoid this mess, just import each library only once, but with all of their elements, and then simply ignore the elements you actually don’t need.

Note that the KiCad Library Import does not have this limitation.

Only *.lbr files from EAGLE v6 or later are supported. To import libraries from EAGLE v5 or older, open those libraries first in EAGLE v6 or later and save them to disk again. This will migrate the *.lbr files from a binary file format (unsupported by LibrePCB) to an XML file (supported).
